Richard McCormick has published CivilWarObsession.com since 2009. He is a volunteer and serves as Secretary and Acquisitions Director of the Board of Directors of the Campbell County Historical and Genealogical Society. He has also volunteered and served on the boards of the James A. Ramage Civil War Museum and the Cynthiana Battlefields Foundation in the recent past. McCormick has been a member of groups such as the American Battlefields Trust, the Friends of Perryville Battlefield, and the Abraham Lincoln Association. His current research is to find names and information about Civil War soldiers and sailors from his home of Campbell County, Kentucky.
